Okay, I know loads of people say that these don't work out, especially when you've never met the person. I met this guy online, we're the same age and after 2 and a half months of everyday talking, I really like him. We're both in the US but I'm on the west coast, and he's in the mid West. About 1900 miles away, to be more specific. He says he likes me a lot too. The topic of a relationship was brought up the other day, by me. At first he said he had just assumed I didn't want to do that, but as we discussed more he said he "doesn't know" how long distance relationships work out and he was "afraid." I don't understand. If you really have feelings for someone, I assume you'd figure that you can work out the issue of distance. I know for a fact I'd be able to visit him occasionally, because in my opinion, he isn't THAT far away. I'm a bit hurt. Does this mean he doesn't care enough about me to even consider it? I don't want to cut off communication from him but I don't to be chasing pavements. Can anyone give me an unbiased insight? :/
